Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Bulbitech, a technology company specialising in ophthalmology.
I am currently pursuing an Industrial Doctorate at the University of Oslo, funded by a fellowship from the Research Council of Norway. My research focuses on one of our innovative diagnostic assessments: measuring the speed of retinal adaptation across varying illumination levels. We evaluate its applicability in the screening, diagnosis, and monitoring of conditions affecting retinal structure, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic macular oedema.
I bring over 7 years of experience in Central Asia, combining my clinical practice as an ophthalmologist at a specialised facility with leadership of a humanitarian intervention team.
I have practised ophthalmology across several hospitals in Norway and served at the national Medical Coding and Electronic Health Records unit (KITH), now integrated within the Norwegian Directorate of Health.
I completed my specialisation in ophthalmology at the Trondheim University Hospital following six years of residency training. I also served as a general practitioner and resident across various medical centres nationwide. Previously, I completed six years of medical studies at the University of Bergen and undertook chemistry and biochemistry coursework in the Netherlands.
In addition to my medical expertise, I possess robust capabilities in communication, education, and scientific dissemination. I hold proficiency in programming (Python, Haskell) and electronics, enabling active collaboration in technological developments within the visual health domain.
I am fluent in Norwegian, English, and Dutch, with conversational proficiency in Tajik and German.
